HomeBot Future is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. This disclosure explains how our affiliate relationships work and how they affect (and do not affect) our editorial content.

What This Means for You

When you click a link on our Site that points to an Amazon product and make a purchase, we receive a small commission from Amazon. This commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not from your purchase price. You pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go directly to Amazon.

The commission we earn varies by product category, typically ranging from 1% to 10% of the purchase price. These commissions are how we keep the Site running, pay for research and testing, and continue producing free content for readers.

How We Choose Products

We only feature products that meet the following criteria:

• Relevance to home robotics or smart home technology — The product must fit our editorial focus.
• Positive customer reception — We prefer products with strong review profiles (typically 4 stars or higher with a meaningful number of ratings).
• Active availability — Products must be currently in stock on Amazon. We verify ASINs regularly but cannot guarantee real-time availability.
• Genuine editorial value — We only recommend products we would recommend even without an affiliate relationship.

We do not feature a product simply because it pays a higher commission. Our editorial team selects products first based on quality and relevance, and then we add affiliate links.

How Links Are Placed

Affiliate links appear in the following ways on our Site:

• Product cards — Detailed product showcases with images, ratings, features, and a clear call-to-action button.
• In-text links — Contextual links within articles that point to relevant products.
• Comparison tables — Links within product comparison tables.
• Review articles — Dedicated review pages for individual products.

All affiliate links use the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute, which tells search engines that these are compensated links and should not influence search rankings. This is the search-engine-recommended practice for affiliate links.

How This Affects Our Reviews

It does not. Our editorial process is independent of our monetization. We write reviews based on our research and testing, and we publish both positive and negative conclusions. If a product is poor, we say so, even if we earn a commission on it.

We do not accept payment for positive reviews. We do not accept free products in exchange for guaranteed coverage. When manufacturers send us review units, we disclose that relationship in the review and we return or purchase the unit after testing.

Other Advertising

In addition to Amazon Associates, we display advertising through third-party ad networks. These networks serve display ads (banner ads, video ads, native ads) on our Site. We do not directly control which specific ads appear, but we work with reputable networks that adhere to industry standards.

Advertising is clearly distinguished from editorial content. Ads are labeled as "Advertisement" or "Sponsored" where applicable. Editorial content is never paid for by advertisers.
